Hello Alice Reveals Small Business Accelerator Expansion for 2024 (1)

Small Business News

The small businesses funding platform Hello Alice has announced expansions for its accelerator and Boost Camp programs.

About the expansion:

Hello Alice is partnering with enterprise partners to grow its Boost Camps accelerator programming. These programs include skill-building and grant opportunities for small businesses in the United States. Some current partners include Progressive Insurance, Antares Capital, Wells Fargo, and FedEx.

While applications for the Antares Capital REACH Program and Progressive Insurance’s Driving Small Business Forward Grant & Boost Camp Program have closed, entrepreneurs can now apply for Wells Fargo Boost Camps, while the FedEx Entrepreneur Fund will announce more details this fall. Wells Fargo Boost Camp is a virtual accelerator that will offer four programs in the next 18 months. These sessions will focus on credit-building and business health. Applications are now open and will remain open until August 16th. The first Boost Camp will start on September 10th.

As for the FedEx Entrepreneur Fund, this program promises to help small business owners by providing them with additional funding, resources, and networking opportunities. This Boost Camp is set to launch in Winter 2025 with the application period to be announced this fall.

What they’re saying:

Announcing the latest Boost Camps, Hello Alice VP of Business Development Natalie Diamond said, “Hello Alice is proud to partner with high-level enterprise companies to empower small businesses and foster their success. Together, we are creating unparalleled opportunities for entrepreneurs to achieve brand success, drive financial fitness, and thrive in today’s competitive market.”

Diamond continued, “Our joint endeavors not only offer access to capital and resources but also provide tailored guidance and mentorship, arming small business owners with the insights and support necessary to navigate challenges and seize growth opportunities.”

The company’s CEO and co-founder Carolyn Rodz added, “We are fortunate to continue working with great enterprise partners who share our commitment to supporting Main Street through crucial grants and mentorship programs. Small businesses drive our economy, yet often lack the necessary financing and resources. By partnering with major companies, Hello Alice is ensuring that small businesses have access to the tools and opportunities they need to thrive and create jobs in their local communities.”

My thoughts:

I’ve said before that part of me expected to see grant opportunities and programs like these Boost Camps slowing after a surge of such offerings popped up during the pandemic. Thankfully, that has not been the case — and, as this news shows, opportunities for small business owners are only growing. That’s all the more reason for entrepreneurs to keep an eye on these opportunities and apply for programs that seem like a good fit.
